Two of my grandfather brothers Lewis (Louie) Dungey on the left and Albert Dungey on the right. All my grandfather siblings passed away before him except Uncle Verley. Uncle Verley lived with us for about three years one time and he would help us farm. I thought he was mean.

My grandfather had six brothers and two sisters.
His oldest brother was name Verley Dungey 1905-1983,
Lolen was the 2nd child then Manuel Dungey born 1908, Marquerite Dungey 1910-1935,
Arthur born in 1911, Albert born in 1915, Lewis (Louie) Dungey Jr. 1917, Flossie M. Dungey 1918 and Warren G. Dungey 1921-1921 he died as a baby. Lolen named his only son after his brother Warren. This is a picture of his oldest brother Verley. I only have picture of three of his brothers.

These two pictures are one of Warren when he joined the Navy and got his General Education Diploma and one of me when I graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School here in Kalamazoo, Michigan I graduated with the class of 1979. I was 19 years old.

These two pictures are one of my brother Warren H. Dungey Jr. when he was 10 years and me when I was about six years old we were going to Edison School and living with my grandparents Lolen and Eunice Wanda Dungey. My parents got a divorce when I was five years old aprox 1965.

This is a picture of Grandpa and Grandma Dungey when they lived on Edwards on street in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This picture was taken aprox around 1965. Grandpa would of been about 58 years old and Grandma would of been 51 years old. My parents and my brother Warren and I lived with them on Edwards Street. My dad and mom pictures are on the wall in this picture.

Wanda Dungey Thurmond

My grandma Dungey looked similar to this picture when Grandpa Dungey meet her. Grandma said she was about 19 on this picture and her and my grandfather got married in 1937 when she was 23 years old. Grandpa Dungey was a widow with a son Warren H. Dungey Sr. and he was two years old when they got married. Grandma started off babysitting for my dad along with his Grandma Susie Curtis and then they started dating and then got married. Because he was so young when his mother Beatrice passed away Grandma Dungey raised my dad and help raise my brother and I also when our parents got a divorce. Grandma Dungey was a only child she didn't have any siblings.
